"Tertian Fridays" Poetry/Literature Event at Glass City Cafe
May 18, 2012 - Horror/Suspense/Mystery/Action-Adventure/SciFi
Every Third Friday of the Month come join Tara Armstrong and her band of local poets and writers for an exciting evening of poetry and prose reading at the Glass City Cafe, located at Jackson and 10th Uptown Toledo.
Each month from now through November, Tara and Friends will bring you a different genre-specific reading event unmatched in Lucas County. The first four months are devoted to fiction and the latter four to non-fiction, so come out and support your local writers and help plant the artistic seeds of poetry and prose in our community.
If you would like to be a part of this planned reading event, you can contact me at craigacombs[at]me[dot]com and I will forward your information and request on to Tara, or you can also prepare an 8-minute reading according to the genre of that month and put your name on the list to be included in the Open Mic following the featured readers.
The genres of each of the monthly readings will be as follows:
Big Thanks to the Crouse family and all the great staff at Glass City Cafe for hosting this monthly event. ;)
Also, my apologies to Courtney for not including her reading in this video. I simply didn't have enough memory to cover the entire show. I hope you understand; I really did enjoy the captivating suspense story you shared with us--Well done! :)
