A modern adapation of Albert Camus' novel L'Etranger. The short film follows the story of Meursault, an average, emotionally detached man. At his mother's funeral, he does not cry. He kills a man with no discernible motive. For his crime, he is sentenced to death. In prison, Meursault explores himself, his place in the world, and the concepts of time and meaning.
