At the turn of the 20th century, Louis Comfort Tiffany had established himself as the leader of American luxury design. At the forefront of his practice were his stained glass windows, which are remarkable for their innovation and beauty. While abundant in New York and the northeastern U.S., relatively few exist in the south. The Newcomb Art Museum has the largest collection of Tiffany stained glass windows in Louisiana, which remain on view year-round. In this – the third in our series of videos about our Tiffany Windows – we explore the 5 memorial windows installed in the Myra Clare Rodgers Memorial Chapel on the Newcomb College Campus of Tulane University.
