Debut feature documentary by Serdar Kokceoglu, Mimaroglu: The Robinson of Manhattan Island tells the story of electronic music composer Ilhan Mimaroglu and his wife Gungor Mimaroglu. Spreading through decades spent in New York, the documentary recounts their love, companionship and disappointments using mostly the footage shot by Ilhan Mimaroglu himself.
