‘Knotted, as I remembered' is an 20m long inflatable sculpture, consisting of a series of interconnected inflatable
tubes, which twist and turn to create an endless series of different shapes and forms. It was made as a large scale inflatable toy, which can be turned on any side and take the form of anything ranging from a tight knot to a free flowing continuous line. It was first exhibited in a solo show called 'No Way Forward, No Way Back' @ the Crissie Cotter Gallery, Sydney Australia March 2011 & was selected and exhibited in the Oct-Nov 2011 Sculpture by the Sea exhibition, Sydney Australia. This artwork is part of a series of artworks relating to my experience of grief, which I expressed through a series of small and large scale artworks, including inflatable & bronze sculptures, drawings, poetry, installation and performance.
