Producer/host Bonnie D. Graham welcomes Denny Daniel, founder and curator of The Museum of Interesting Things – an interactive traveling exhibition of antiques and inventions, including unusual toys, books and mechanical equipment of all kinds.
The concept for the museum took shape when Denny started working as a freelance filmmaker/documentor and photo retoucher/restorer for such companies as The Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, Songs of Love and the New York Times.
Leveraging his personal collection of 300+ antiques and his experience with 20 museum and gallery exhibitions of his own work, Denny committed to start an enterprise that would inspire students and those of us in the “real” world to learn from the past and innovate a better future.
On the show, Denny demonstrates several fascinating curiosities from the museum collection and explains how he acquires such items. You may recognize a few! Watch, smile and learn.
