The Northern Ohio Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held its 24th annual Great Strides Walk at Hardesty Park in Akron, Ohio. Over 35 teams participated and raised funds ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. The Northern Ohio Chapter has an a goal of $700,000 which includes Akron's goal of $125,000. The national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation goal is $40 million.
