The sixth annual University of Rochester Mark Ain Business Model Competition was held on May 16, 2012 at the Simon Graduate School of Business.

The program is made possible by support from Simon alumnus and entrepreneur Mark S. Ain '67, founder of Kronos Incorporated. In addition to Ain, the panel of judges included Edward J. Ackley ’53 BS, ’64 MS, owner and president of The Filter Store Plus in Mendon, N.Y., and former CEO of Consler Corporation (now owned by Graver Technologies); Joseph W. Abrams ’74, Entrepreneur and Consumer Technology Expert; and Daniel G. Lazarek ’9, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary, Board of Director, and Co-owner of Access Insurance Holdings Incorporated . The workshops and competition are supported by the Simon Entrepreneurs Association and the University of Rochester Center for Entrepreneurship.
