The E-Shoe is a wearable piece of fashionable technology, or an Objekt Instrument made by Chicks on Speed & Max Kibardin, developed after 3 years of research and prototyping on and off stage, in a shoe factory outside Milan and the art production space Hangar.org with Alex Posada. The E-SHOE finally made it's live debut at the Chicks on Speed's solo exhibition at DCA, on a self designed & crafted stage, where elements of the stage and props also became part of the sonic mix, including Cigar Box Synthesizers and a giant loom with sensors.
The E-SHOE has been widely exhibited and performed in extensively, including: "The Power of Making" Victoria and Albert Museum, London & DIY, Frankfurt Museum of communication, 2012.
