After talks between the government and student organizations have ground to a halt, thousands of Montrealers expressed their discontent with the Liberals' decision by taking to the street once again.
The crowd grew to about 8,000 people when three smaller groups met up with the main march. It had been eight days since police and protesters had clashed at the nightly marches and last night extended the peace: only three people were arrested by night's end.
