Darling is a narrative short film created by the Spring 2012 UNT Advanced Film Production class.
Here is writer Lea Kocurek's description of Darling:
"The story for "Darling" came about accidentally and is the most difficult script I've written to date. Once I settled on the topic for the film, the subject matter was hard to grasp and portray visually in a way that made sense. In the end, the ideas fell together to form a fantastical drama that explores grief, imagination and the stillness of time. The inspiration came from the thought of being here one day and not the next, and how that affects your loved ones in life and in dreams. This film dives into the theme of past vs. present vs. future. Time is the most under-appreciated entity of our world."
