Southern Australian waters are home to one of the most remarkable fish, the Leafy Seadragon (Phycodurus eques). My first encounter with a Leafy was in 1972. I took some photos which were published as a double page color spread in American Skindiver Magazine in 1973...the first ever of a Leafy Seadragon in its natural environment.
This video was shot with a hacked GH2 and two HDVSEATEK LED 4000 video lights.
Thanks to Wendy, my wife and dive buddy of 20 years.
