Went with my sister, Pam to Clearwater Beach and was rewarded with a couple great shows from street entertainers at the pier. Nicktorious was the young Houdini, escaping from chains around his body and a straight jacket. Then "The Bucket Man," Chris Harris played his gig. Both were amazing, but having a background in marching band I appreciated "The Bucket Man," Chris Harris' routine a little more. I was reminiscing about my former days playing in the high school marching band. This put a big smile on my face. Chris Plays in front of the Tropicana Field at every home game, as well as Home Lightning Games at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. When he's not playing there you can find him at Pier 60 between March and September. This performance was on a Thursday night. Dallas the Fire Guy is well known in the area as well and if you're at a festival anywhere, He is known to have an amazing show that draws large excited crowds. Son Nick made my head and back hurt just watching as he writhed at warp freekin' speed to get free of the chains and straight jacket. The volunteers that chained him up were grimacing while putting the chains on him as tight as they could. Both entertainers can easily be found by searching for them on the internet, and booking either one may prove a challenge, because they are in demand.
Enjoy the shows, they're worth every second.
