Food trucks, locally-owned venues, cheap rent, and a thriving community of small businesses play a huge role in making Austin the greatest town America's got.
In recent years, as the population continues to grow at an alarming rate, Austin has been overrun with condominiums, chain stores, and traffic. It is a scary idea that the archetypal bohemian town is susceptible to corporate development and sprawl.
As a filmmaker, my favorite gigs have always been shooting for locally owned businesses and getting to connect with the owners. I am convinced that small business owners are some of the finest people on the planet.. This video is a tribute to the people and small businesses I've had the fortune of working with the past year.
