Natasha Cann is a fourth generation miner who is proud to have worked in the resources sector for the
past 10 years. Winner of the 2012 Women in Resources Chamber of Mineral and Energy award for
Outstanding Technician/Operator/Trade, Natasha is one of only a few women maintenance planners
in Australia and the only female maintenance planner to start her own company in Western Australia.
Natasha’s company offers consulting services to a range of mining organisations and is unique by
specialising in mechanical and electrical maintenance planning - a highly sought after skill not readily
available in the industry.
With a military background, rather than the traditional trade background, Natasha credits her company
motto ‘The Art of Can Do’ as the reason for her success. She thrives on the challenge of being flexible,
dynamic, and results-focused in the industry she is passionate about.
Natasha also feels deeply connected to the Western Australian landscape, which is reflected in her other
passion, photography, capturing both the intricate and rugged beauty of the native Australian bush.
