This is my last photographic work. A series made in Poland during the last four years.

When I was there, I felt that I need to be quiet and just look to the cities, to the country... to feel it. Just silence.

Many things remembered me to Seneca Philosophy... Seneca is the father of Stoicism and, in my opinion, Poland is something similar... it always has had a real rough and difficult history, (too many changes in too little time... too much pain...) a constant effort to find itself, to survive.
Seneca said "human suffering should be accepted and has a beneficial effect on the soul" or "As long as you live, keep learning how to live"... Just Poland!
Seneca also said "A great fortune is a great slavery". It´s not easy to find people so modest, so polite...
