In this demo, I am using the kinect camera to perform head tracking, and then using the head location relative to the monitor screen to create an anamorphic projection of the square image.

Instead of having the image lie flat on the plane of the screen, the image is transformed so that it is perspective correct, as if the image were right in front of us.

The resulting illusion is that our view of the image always remains square, absent of skew normally introduced by perspective.

In this case, the painting of Mona Lisa appears to be floating in front of us, untethered from the monitor screen.
