Mike Fleming, 84, talks about model railroading, real trains and growing up in Livingston, Montana. A member of the Livingston Model Railroad Club, Fleming said the group celebrates the mystique of the railroad and strives for realism in its designs. Members meet Tuesday and Saturday nights in the old baggage building at the Livingston Depot, a restored 1902 Northern Pacific Railway station. The club runs model trains on more than 600 feet of meticulously designed track in settings representative of southwest Montana.
