No recipe collection is complete with a handful of quick and easy party recipes (you know how it is when people show up and you've gotta whip up some snacks). Sausage Balls are easily one of my all time favorite party snacks, and they couldn't be simpler to make. Just three ingredients and a quick bake.
I'm a big fan of eating these things straight, but occasionally, you'll run into someone who wants a sauce (like your girlfriend). To appease the dip nuts, we've got an avocado ranch dipping sauce to pair with the sausage balls for a nice, creamy combo.
2 cups bisquick
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
1 lb owen’s hot sausage
Combine the above in a bowl by hand. Mix until all ingredients are well absorbed into a single mass. Roll into walnut sized balls and space them into rows on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 16-20 mins, turning once.
Avocado Ranch Dipping Sauce
1/2 half large hass avocado
1/2 half jalapeno, minced
1 cup ranch
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp black pepper
Combine the above in a bowl and mix on low until smooth.
