Visible Sound is a computational study of cymatic patterns formation. Depending on boundary conditions and the driving frequency, different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium. This system creates audio reactive visualization by mapping the dominant frequency of an input sound source to vibration modes of a 2-D Chladni plate. To demonstrate, a short sound sample from "Berlin" was used as the input to this computational system.
