VMCC 2012 Winter Series Rnd 2 - Race1

First race of the 2nd round of the VMCC winter series. Track started off wet for qualifying but is rapidly drying. Most riders are still on wets, as am I. I'm having a great race and get up to 1st in my class and 3rd overall. Challenging for 2nd when the bike cuts out. Turns out that spray from the back wheel got into the CDI and ruined it which puts an end to my day as I don't have a spare. Still, very happy to be up near the front and putting in the same laptimes as I was in the dry at round 1, but in damp conditions and on rain tyres. Best laptime: 1m22.727s
