The deformation was created by simply keyframing lattice points, which allowed for a broad range of deformation during animation. This the latest title bumper created for my second Maya guide for iPad. Along with the new bumper, I updated the graphics and added a walk through of the new Heat Map binding method, available in Autodesk Maya 2013. The updated guide should be available online, soon.
