This is a 30 second spot we put together for the Saranac Project. Shot and edited entirely by me.
The idea here was a backyard BBQ in the middle of winter - kind of an Eff-You to winter.
These are my friends, paid in beer and gratitude. We shot them doing a variety of things but this sequence happened undirected. We had gotten several 12 packs of Saranac beer and placed them in the snow to chill while we lit the backyard. The snow fell the entire time and as a result the boxes got soggy and fell apart.
So the gang decided to build a cooler for the beers and what you see is that process edited down.
Our idea was to pull Saranac away from all of their Adirondack themed promotional pieces and look more at their urban demo.
Special thanks to Ma Perkins for use of her downtown backyard as location for our shoot.
