This video illustrates the creation of memory threads. A simulated P2P network is generated where each peer contains digital memories. The peers are then connected using an algorithm developed by Haseeb Ur Rahman, which connects peers with similar content together in order to form memory threads.

The research behind the process was conducted by
- Haseeb Ur Rahman
- Madjid Merabti
- Sud Sudirman
- David Llewellyn-Jones
at Liverpool John Moores University, School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences.

The network simulator used was developed by
- Amir Modarresi
- Ali Mamat
- Hamidah Ibrahim
- Norwati Mustapha
at the Universiti Putra Malaysia.
