I took the ladies, GH2, & a 50mm to the carnival to grab some photos...
Alas, when your camera has been tricked out to shoot a feature film on it, it's hard to pass up the opportunity.
So hell yes, I went all out...
It's hard to grab any sort of super fluid professionalism, hand held in a crowd of 10,000 or more on 1 acre of land, but I think it turned out pretty good. I wanted Ava to have something a little more than a couple of pictures.
So go cinematic, or go home.

BTW. The sun was gorgeous yesterday... So that's why it looks like a day at the carnival with Michael Bay.
