The client, Wellbeing In the City is an emerging social network platform promoting Wellbeing. They commissioned this video to Big Bang Lab to promote a crowdfunding campaign online to develop new online tools for their existing platform. We worked very closely with members of the staff and supporters who under the supervision of our artistic director helped to co-create the script, find the structure and key messages for the brand. This is a good example of our crowdsourced video production for fundraising purposes involving the staff in the production and creative process. This collaborative production process is unique and combined both consultancy, training and production by Big Bang Lab. A key representative member of their staff, the business relations manager, was in charge of co-ordinating the project internally. This video involved shooting in five different locations around the globe from Ireland, to Scotland and in cities like London and New York!
We also were in charge of identifying the right music beyond stereotypes of corporate videos, a piece of music that would suit the style and storytelling. Our team of researchers were also in charge of finding clips of timelapse photography of city scenes including London landmarks. Big Bang Lab searched, negotiate deals and produced the license on behalf of our client and we are very pleased with the results that without doubts will help to enhance our client's brand far beyond the crowdfinance campaign. Their first reaction on the music was a mixed of love and hate reaction but after watching the final version they couldn't think about other music to fit the video!

A truly crowdsourced video production experience, we worked very closely with our client more in a partnership than as a traditional client / service provider relationship. We collected the footage provided by the client and shot by Wellbeing in the City staff across the organisations and edited the video in the offline and online final version, giving advice and guidelines all the way through from the initial contact to the final postproduction. Clear communication has been crucial for the success of the project. The video is telling the story of the brand, values and services involving a number of stakeholders, from partners, users and mentors etc... whilst at the same time it encouraged simple call for action for new users, so as you learn about them you also are invited to participate in the campaign. We enjoyed working with Wellbeing in the City and wish them very successful campaign as their success is ours as well. We look forward to the launch on Thursday and the response from the live audience.
Big Bang Lab is part of the Wellbeing In the City community and one of their online members. We have been involved with Wellbeing In the City in various projects, from HR open days for Westminster Council to the delivery of workshops at their gathering events (with our infamous Balloon Orchestra Workshop on co-creativity) which was well received!
