This town hall featured a presentation from Jason McLellan, Ph.D., associate professor of molecular biosciences in the College of Natural Sciences at UT Austin, whose lab is on the front lines of developing a vaccine for COVID-19. His team made a critical early breakthrough by creating the first 3D atomic scale map of the part of the virus that attaches to and infects human cells.
