Jack (from Jack's Story) runs a Wood-Mizer sawmill. This sawmill is being operated entirely by Kamea locals in the Kotidanga Sub-District of the Gulf Province. The mill belongs to That They May Know, the trees are purchased from the local landowners, the workers are paid fort-nightly, and they refuse to wear safety gear. (You might actually see some lying in the corner on the job site.)
Jack Naudi does a great job running this mill, and keeps meticulous notes as to how much of what size boards are cut each day. All the finished lumber is used by That They May Know for building classrooms, dormitories, houses, churches, and other buildings needed in the mission work.
Special thanks to Wood-Mizer of Indianapolis for the special missions discount when we purchased this mill in 2003, and again, with the new mill we recently purchased in 2012.
