The "MSM" or "men that have sex with men" category has been used to describe gay men and other men that may have sex with men, but do not identify as gay. While this label has been around since the late 1980s, there is still much speculation as to its place within the gay community. On June 13, 2012, HIV Prevention Justice hosted a webinar to engage in discussion on this important issue.
Hosted by HIV/PJA Steering Committee Member, Charles Stephens, with panelists Chris Bartlett, Louis Graham, and Ilan H. Meyer, we look at what "MSM" means to sexual identity and social justice. How do you think the term "MSM" affects the notion community, power and politics? After watching the webinar, join the conversation and learn more at preventionjustice@org.
