Dr. Deborah Armstrong joined the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance for an hour-long discussion of study results presented at the annual meeting of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Dr. Armstrong is an associate professor of oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins and an associate professor in gynecology and obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Researchers at the 2012 ASCO meeting presented results from more than a dozen trials of ovarian cancer treatments (including Avastin, Doxil and olaparib), as well as several studies on quality of life for ovarian cancer patients. This webinar explores the research presented at the ASCO meeting and what these findings means for patients currently undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer.
