Another of my early Timelapse tests.
This was a Sunset to night test shot from a hill overlooking the Barossa Valley in South Australia (our famous wine district). This overlooks the towns of Tanunda and Nuriootpa.
Lens 14-140mm F4.0-5.8 Panasonic
Initial ISO 160
White balance Locked
Aperture: F4.0 Aperture Priority Mode
5 second intervals
Towards the end I changed the ISO to 800 - which reduced the shutter to 4 seconds (it had blown out to 20 seconds and meant that the time-lapse was speeding up)
* At the time I wasn't happy with the location but on watching it back I did see the vehicle motions I expected.
* I didn't realise that I might have seen stars in this - going to have to go back and try again - the bright light in the sky is actually Venus.
* Framing is a bit crap :-) I think perhaps I could have made more of the fence in the foreground. A slider would have made it look interesting too - although then maybe the shot would be to busy? Anyone have any thoughts on this?
This was a first attempt. Lots more to learn.....
