HEL/LO – Let’s Talk About Dreams kicked off the Finnish Institute’s and Blueprint magazine’s series of architecture and design events called HEL/LO – Let’s Talk. This first discussion focused on self-initiated, DIY architecture and design projects that shape the cities and communities we live in.
The speakers for this first HEL/LO talk, held 24 May at the Gopher Hole in London, were Helsinki-based architect and designer Hella Hernberg, Olli Sirén, producer and initiator of groundbreaking community projects, London-based designer Asif Khan and the young architectural practice Mobile Studio.
Comprising of four events, the HEL/LO – Let’s Talk series brings together architecture and design professionals from London and Helsinki for a lively discussion and exchange of ideas throughout 2012. The HEL/LO series is one of the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 international satellite events.
