The 'Let's Talk About Genes' rap was written, performed and directed by Year 8 students from Stanwell School following a three day research project funded by Tenovus, involving a team from the University of Glamorgan.
The Project involved Year 8 children being exposed to cancer genetics learning using fun activities and games, as well as creative workshops. The children wrote the rap focusing on what they think other children their age need to know about cancer and the role that families play in getting cancer.
