I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Middle Level Education today from Georgia State University. While I couldn't be at my graduation ceremony in person in Atlanta, I was able to attend from Hamburg via a live web stream of the proceedings. (Thank you, modern day technology!)
Since I wasn't there it really didn't feel real. I ended-up getting a bit more emotional about the whole thing than I expected to. It's hard to believe that my nearly seven year collegiate journey has finally come to an end. It's a bit scary to think about how I have no firm idea as to what I want to do with my life next. I guess only time will tell.
1. Since my visit to the St Pauli Fischmarkt technically occurred today, I thought I'd include more video from it. This video, due to its shittiness, doesn't do the size of it justice. I should have gotten footage in the other direction but I was almost too damn tired to even keep my eyes open at this point. It was all totally worth it though!
2. It was well after 6.30 Uhr by the time we got back to Thomas' place so we slept most of the morning and early afternoon away. Once we got up we ate some pizza and watched an episode of 'GCB' as I counted down the hours until my graduation.
3, 4, 5. Parts of my graduation ceremony! The ceremony itself seemed super short after watching all of my fellow graduates parade in for nearly an hour. Our speaker, Vicki B. Escarra, was epic. It's still hard to believe I actually made it to this day even if I wasn't actually there to celebrate it. Many thanks to Thomas for sharing in my ridiculous excitement all day today and to Scott and my parents for watching the ceremony along with me back in the States.
