Rachel Wotton, a witty, outspoken young woman from Sydney, Australia, has been working legally as a sex worker for the past 18 years. Half of Wotton’s clients are people with disabilities. Wotton volunteers for Touching Base, a charity that assists and connects people with disabilities and sex workers.
Documentary ‘Scarlet Road’, directed by Catherine Scott, reveal the less-known side of sex work. Scott and Woffon tell Thomson Reuters Foundation about the making of the documentary and their works with people with disabilities.
