Stevenson School parents share their perspective and first-hand experience of why they chose Stevenson, and what it’s like to have students at the Pebble Beach Campus.

Stevenson School, founded in 1952 and named for the writer Robert Louis Stevenson, is unique in its configuration in that is it the only PK-12, nonsectarian, independent, co-ed school on the Monterey Peninsula.

Its Pebble Beach Campus is home to 520 students, both day and boarding, hailing from 20 states and 16 countries in grades 9-12. Half are day students from local communities (reaching from Carmel to Salinas to Santa Cruz), and half from throughout the United States and around the world.

The Carmel Campus is located five miles away in Carme, it is a day school for grades pre-kindegarten - 8.
