Therapy is often thought of as a private pursuit. But in schools, especially for our most challenged students, therapy is best done in the context of daily lessons and accomplished by collaborating therapists. Why? Because therapy in isolation often stays in isolation, when what we want is a crossover into life. Having the Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapists all working in tandem means that the student receives immediate feedback in the right time and place that feedback will do the most good. What does this collaboration look like? How is it organized? This introductory video explains some of the approaches and principles involved.
