An experiment using camera mapping in Cinema 4D and compositing in After Effects. I projected the background image onto some basic 3D geometry in Cinema 4D, created simple text, and lit the scene with a single light and global illumination. The camera shake was created in Cinema 4D using Xpresso — I used "noise" to generate random values over time, which were then added to the camera's X & Y coordinates to cause the camera to "wiggle" off its motion path. I rendered the scene in multiple passes (RGBA, AO, GI, Depth) along with an After Effects compositing file which contained a reproduction of the lighting and camera moves created in C4D.
In After Effects, I used the camera lens blur effect along with a depth pass to create the DOF effect, created a 3D lens flare with Knoll Light Factory, added some volumetric lighting with Trapcode Lux, inserted some particles with Trapcode Particular, and polished the scene off with Magic Bullet Looks.
