When he’s not promoting forests Ralph serves as Secretary of the Board of the Nashua River Watershed Association. Before he retired, Ralph was Chairman and Chief Scientist at TerraTherm, Inc., an environmental remediation contractor in Fitchburg, MA. Ralph holds a Ph.D. in Soil Physics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, has been an environmental scientist for 40 years, and is an expert in hazardous waste cleanup technology. He is the author of over sixty-five technical papers and four books.
