Still (5mins)
A duet for two men taken from Still, a long form live dance piece by Nigel Charnock for Candoco Dance Company in 2009. At the time making it Nigel commented “with every piece I make there is part of me in there, its always about people and how people deal with each other, its always about relationship rather than relationships, and more so in this piece about the loss of that, about losing someone.” (extract the Candoco Archive youtu.be/3Yo9eUJfkg4 )
Filmed by Graham Clayton-Chance artist and filmmaker and producer of the Nigel Charnock Archive. Graham is working on a series of short dance films exploring the legacy of acclaimed British choreographer and dancer Nigel Charnock.
