Launched on 26th June 2012. A tricky brief with a tight deadline to coincide with the launch of the new look Sky News website. The concept is simply that of self promotion of Sky News' cross media coverage (online, iPad and every UK smartphone), leaving the top story summaries to the presenter.
Done completely in house with no budget at all. This meant the sequence was designed around the existing 2010 music which negated the duration and the majority of available cut points. The content displayed throughout every unique play is live mirrored stories found on all three devices featured. This is achieved using a combination of an After Effects composited XSI 3D sequence fed through Viz RT, which upon each load up is populated with up-to-date news stories, titles and body text using a system called Scoop.
