On May 25th, 2012, Presidio Graduate School congratulated its largest class of MBA and MPA graduates for completing degrees in Sustainability Management. With this 7th annual MBA and 2nd annual MPA commencement Presidio now has over 600 alumni across all Sustainability Management and Sustainability Leadership programs including the Executive Certificate degree.
In this snapshot of commencement President/CEO William Shutkin congratulates new graduates as they embark on new entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship endeavors to transform business and public policy and create a more just, prosperous and sustainable world. The new, skilled leaders are prepared by "bridging the divide between world views and institutions, business and society, market values and civic values, and finally between the "I" and the "We"".
Recent graduates Zachary Worthington, Lauren Wray, and Tommaso Boggia also share stories about their Presidio experience; how they connected passion and purpose to professional endeavors and discovered career paths through Experiential Learning projects with partner organizations. Zach discusses his path to sustainable food entrepreneurship, Lauren talks about bringing a new green construction product to market, and Tomasso tells about his neighborhood revitalization and community development work in Oakland, CA.
