This conference, co-hosted by the CSIS Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Program and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, will continue the theme of the INSA Homeland Security Intelligence Council’s 2011 white paper, “Intelligence to Protect the Homeland: Taking stock ten years later and looking ahead” by discussing the progress made on the paper’s sixteen key recommendations and identifying the emerging challenges affecting the development and sharing of intelligence information to protect the homeland. The event brings together key homeland security intelligence stakeholders from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and representatives from academia, state and local law enforcement and private sector partners supporting the nation’s homeland security activities.
