Finally had a chance to put an edit together of last year's epic trip. Every year I do whatever it takes to get out to Tom and Rhonda's place on the lake of the Ozarks. It is arguably my favorite week of the year.
This year will no doubt be the best yet - mostly because I'm just looking so forward to it and I've lost a ton of weight since last year! (please ignore my big fat belly!).
Since I was a kid I have really been blessed with the one thing that can make or break a life - good friends.
Corey and I have had epic summer vacations since he lived across the street from me when we were kids. It is a blessing that we are still good friends - since he moved to Chicago we don't get to see each other as much as we used to. But no matter - it just makes the time together even more special.
Don't take your friends for granted - who you know and who you befriend will change everything.
Thanks to my friends - hope I'm holding up my end of the bargain - you guys rule.
