One for sorrow, two for joy. Three for a girl, four for a boy. Five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told. Eight for a wish, nine for a kiss. Ten for a bird you must not miss.
Prompted by the Magpie's song and inspired by the Southbank Centre's 'Festival of the World', over
600 children from 21 Southwark schools took a bird's eye view of the world exploring their journey, not only to different parts of the world, but the birds that either come from them or reflect their character to create a feathery flight of fantasy filled with music, dance, theatre, film and animation and design.
