An animated documentary following the struggle of Serigne Tacko Mbengue, an asylum seeker forced to flee his country. After travelling to the UK, Mbengue hoped to finally find acceptance for his ‘crime’ of being gay.
Now living in the UK, Mbengue is a spokesperson for the organisation ‘Movement for justice: By Any Means Necessary’. A campaign fighting against the racism, homophobia and discrimination of immigrants.
In his own words, this film is an attempt to give people like Mbengue a chance to have their stories heard.
A chance for a life of equality and a chance to have
A Voice.
