Sheilas of the Seventies took us back to the good old days of rock’n’roll as a little teaser before their live gigs at this month’s Melbourne Cabaret Festival.
Featuring the dual Aria award winning singer/songwriter, Monique Brumby, the trio performed stellar acoustic renditions of classics by Fleetwood Mac, Blondie and co, which wowed both the commuters and the Tram Sessions crew!
It was such a high energy, guitar fuelled session that it was hard to keep from rocking out, so much so that some commuters took it upon themselves to advertise to passers by about The Sheilas, the Cabaret Festival and of course Tram Sessions.
A huge thanks to The Sheilas of the Seventies and the Cabaret Festival for allowing us to be part of such an entertaining night!
The Cabaret Festival starts July 12 through 21 and you can catch The Sheilas of the Seventies at Kew Courthouse from July 18th to the 21st.
