Kayla and Sam's wedding was a blast. It was my first beach wedding and to say I learned a lot is an understatement. Regardless of what you may think, sand and DSLR cameras don't mix well. Ha! Their wedding was on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina and the weather was perfect! Kayla did a great job making the beach and location fit her style. It was a beautiful day! I traveled light for this shoot due to flying in and out of there in less than 24 hours. Gear used was a Canon 5D mark ii with the Canon 24-70L 2.8 EF lens and the Canon 1.8 50mm EF lens. Light wasn't a problem on the beach but to get the depth of field I needed I ended up shooting a lot of this at shutter speed of 4000. The sand spilling out of the bottles looks great with a high shutter. Loved the day and loved shooting their wedding!
