Cause & Affect Foundation is a non-profit foundation that distributes funds DIRECTLY to impoverished people around the world. They first research the most pressing issues, then travel to these regions in order to seek out local partners and well-run local projects that are making substantial and sustainable change in these afflicted communities.
The Chairman, Adam Carter, has been engaging in humanitarian work around the world since 2003. He has degrees from University of Michigan (Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology) and George Washington (Masters in International Development), served as a Fulbright Scholar (in Spain) and also worked with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). He also recently served as the Associate Director for 100 Friends.
Adam Carter spends his summers in Chicago fund-raising and is also a beer vendor in the baseball stadiums.
Cause & Affect Foundation seeks out a CAUSE and AFFECTS a change. We seek out the most effective means of distributing funds raised DIRECTLY to those that need it most, helping people climb out of poverty.
