June 20th 2012: Filming avalanche activity on the North East Face of Laila Peak in the Karakoram in Pakistan. We were ready for our summit push to ski this face and went round to check the conditions. They were not good! You can see sluff avalanches coming off the upper face over the rocks and there is a serac fall on the left side.
Conditions were just too warm. The accompanying post to this film with the full story of the ski expedition can be read on paulholding.com.
